2014 in Review

This was a fun year for those of us in Brighton's Own Livingston Players.  Two separate and unique presentations in our History Alive series.   Mark Twain and Mary Todd Lincoln were brought back for encore performances to full audiences!

Our online ticket sales came online this year, and our patrons worked with us to patiently use this convenience.   Being able to purchase tickets 24/7 on our website, with payments thru PayPal or credit card, provided convenience for our patrons.   We were also able to provide on line membership to those wishing to join our group.  New members became part of our group and provided fresh talent for Love,Loss and What I Wore.  Audiences loved this look into the mysteries of womens' minds and closets!

Blue Lantern was back again this year with another Lucky Draw Original Songwriters Open Mic night.  Our lucky winner took home a recording session at Cranberry Creek Studios!   Ladies night out was our first time to host over 100 ladies who stopped in to take a picture with Marilyn Monroe, sample our 'lady-tinnies' and get in the drawing for a boozy basket for the holidays!  We'll be back next year for sure for BOTH ladies nights downtown shopping events!

We finished our year with our fifth annual HoHoHolidays on Saturdays and Sundays during December.  This annual event has become a 'must-attend' for the under 10 set.  Crafts, puppets, a story time, and a personal visit with Santa for the family gets better each year.  Families love visiting with Santa in a small venue space without the lines and confusion of a big mall.

All in all, our group continues to grow, and change with the ever changing technology of the age.   We keep listening to our patrons, and adjusting our goals and talents to provide what our public expects from us.  Our board is always looking for new talent and members will to dig in and have some on stage, or 'back' stage fun.  We wish you and yours the very Merriest of Holiday seasons and a prosperous and health filled New Year.

Brighton's Own Livingston Players will be there in 2015 with even more fun for you to enjoy!   Thank you for your continued interest in our theater group.
