After taking a bit of time off we are back!
Thanks to each and every one of you who supported our efforts and performances. We made an decision to have a bit of a hiatus in 2017 to give support to the 150th Anniversary of the City of Brighton. We were able to lend them the stage at the CoBACH Center and help them with performances during the big party in Downtown Brighton in August. We are now back and planning things for 2018 and beyond. We are excited to again be working with the Girl Scouts with Ho Ho Holidays. The elves helped bring Santa to Brighton during the Glow on November 18, and are looking forward to performances starting December 2.
We are bringing back Patrick Tucker as Mark Twain in June of 2018 for our spring performances of History Alive. He has worked on a whole new performance , if you enjoyed it before, please come and see what is new.
We are excited to work with the Brighton Area Historical Society in preparing material and performances to celebrate the 100 anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment which gave the right to vote to woman. The Amendment was adopted on August 18th, 1920. There will be a number of events to showcase the fight for the woman's right to vote.
Thanks to you, we are excited to plan for what we can bring to Downtown Brighton for your entertainment. Stay tuned to this website and follow us on FACEBOOK so you don't miss one thing as we plan for 2018! Join us for our outstanding 'History Alive' presentation, October 13, 14, 19, 20, and 21, 2018. at the Brighton Lions Club, 465 W. Main Street in Downtown Brighton, MI. After our successful presentation of these two political humorists in 2016, we have decided to bring them back again to discuss Politics as Usual in 2018.
During our 2016 performances people were fascinated to discover how little changed in our politics over the past almost 100 years. Our author has added new material since the election of 2016. This new presentation will again discuss Congress, political parties, and government. The gentlemen will also be discussing things unique to the politics of the Untied States such as the 19th Amendment.
Tickets are available by clicking on 'PURCHASE TICKETS' section. Tickets will be sold at the door (as available), so advanced ticketing is recommended. Be sure to get your tickets soon. Our 'History Alive' presentations have been very well received by our audiences......Molly Brown, Mary Todd Lincoln, and Will Rogers and Mark Twain have all been on our stage over the past few years. It's family friendly, and local theater for your enjoyment. Try not to miss it!
